Burgerhout thin-walled aluminium is a single-wall flue gas system in accordance with NEN 7203 (70 - 200 mm), suitable for open atmospheric gas appliances with negative pressure up to 250 °C. The system can be combined with a double-walled thin-walled flue gas roof terminal and is usually finished with a Nelson cap. An open appliance takes its combustion air from the room itself, so good ventilation of that room is important, for example with a wall grille or ventilation roof terminal.
