Burgerhout
Since 1932, we have stood alongside installers, contractors, and building owners. We provide solutions for flue gas extraction, ventilation, and heat pump applications that do what they are supposed to do.
We develop and produce systems that are logically constructed and pleasant to use in practice. Safe, well-thought-out, and easy to install. So you can rely on an installation that's right, without unnecessary hassle.

Our history
For decades, Burgerhout has provided innovative and reliable solutions for businesses and institutions.
1865
Burgerhout starts as a small smithy and grows into a fully-fledged machine factory and shipyard in the port of Rotterdam.
1932
Founding Muelink & Grol, still then under the name Wijma & Grol.
1952
Wijma & Grol is moving to new premises on Paradijsvogelstraat in Groningen.
1962
Burgerhout is moving to Assen.
1987
Sell Burgerhout to Alcoa.
1996
Muelink & Grol and Burgerhout are merging and will continue as M&G Group.
2004
M&G Group is to get a new owner: Egeria.
2007
Ant Kalip (Istanbul, founded in 1955) joins the M&G Group
2009
M&G-Italia (based in Orgiano near Venice) becomes part of the group
2010
DuraVent, with two locations in the US, is joining the M&G Group
2012
Acquisition of Security Chimneys (Canada).
2016
Full integration of InterActive.
2017
DuraVent and Security Chimneys will continue independently. Acquisition of Stabile S.p.A. (Italy).

Burgerhout Academy
Technology never stands still. Neither should you. With the Burgerhout Academy, we help you keep up and move forward. We train on what matters in practice: safe flue gas extraction, smart ventilation, and system solutions you can apply immediately.
Our training courses are practically oriented and taught by people who know the trade. No theory for theory's sake, but knowledge that helps to build installations correctly and safely.
